Advice from MoneySavingExpert
Earn Via Cashback Websites
You can accumulate a small fortune through using cashback websites simply whilst carrying out your usual shopping. My personal favourite is 'topcashback' if you are based in the US/UK.
If you're renewing your mobile phone contract, booking your holiday, or topping up your car insurance for example you can receive back anything up to 10-15% with certain offers.
At time of writing Talktalk are offering £126.25 in Cashback for taking out their broadband and phone package, Virgin the same amount and Sky up to £146.
This does not just apply to contract packages, Argos offer up to £40.50 based on purchases and many other vendors offer a competitive payment rate or percentage.
If you are doing any online shopping, I HIGHLY recommend checking if they're listed on the site, many people make thousands a year back from this alone.

Those based in France can also take advantage of a separate cashback site Cashstore.Fr which offers similar benefits.

Affiliate Your Website
This is a great one if you run a popular blog or website, and if you do you may already know this works! However if you don't here's a brief run-down:
If you run a blog/website you can add affiliate link packages and get paid each time somebody clicks your page. The two most popular schemes are 'Google Ad Sense' and 'Amazon Associates.'
Niche websites or blogs with a substantial following can earn thousands through this method.
Check if You're Due a Tax Rebate
OK, far from the most exciting revenue stream, yet often one of the more lucrative if you're in employment! HMRC revenue in the UK estimated 3.5 million people alone were entitled to this revenue alone in the UK.
I have received cheques back through the post for hundreds of £££ when inquiring here. Typically, you will be placed in the wrong tax band initially after starting employment (likely emergency rate), and once corrected you will be due a rebate of prior overpayments.
If you want to see what you're due, you can first try the Tax Code Checker on MoneySaving Expert (UK residents), then make direct contact to HMRC Revenue & Customs. If you're in a tax-paying country elsewhere please check through your own government website.
Do Some Freelance Work
If you have skills in a specific field, it pays to do freelancing on the side. Skilled content-writers, web & graphic designers, coding experts and data entry specialists in particular are always in high demand. You can even take on a role as a virtual assistant if you're so inclined!
Two of the best sites available on the web for this are 'Elance' and 'Freelancer'. Essentially you bid on projects, and if successful the site would take a minor fee out of any completed project.
Some jobs are more lucrative than others, but as a basic rule the more complex or niche the work, the higher the payout.
The above are some of my favorite methods, once again to view the full list and the rest of the content on the MoneySavingExpert site Click Here.
