Top 5 Gigs on Fiverr

Top 5 Gigs on Fiverr

What is Fiver?

Fiver describes itself as an 'online marketplace', offering tasks and services at a starting price of $5 USD.

Indeed you'll find all sorts advertised on Fiverr. From popular online tasks such as SEO development, website or graphic design work, to people dressing up as comic book characters and holding a message of your choosing

..if you don't believe me check here!

So for the creative mind Fiverr is your oyster! However, if you are struggling to find inspiration here are 5 great Fiverr ideas that you can try yourself!

1. Video Spokesperson/Testimonials

Are you well-spoken?

Do you look distinguished and professional?

Do you have a great accent?

Are you just highly appealing on camera?

If you're any (or all) of these then this might well be for you! Some of the most successful people on Fiverr are acting as a video spokesperson for companies and individuals.

It's smart to work with your best assets here. For example if you're a fitness buff and look the part you can get work advertising associated products.

If you have an accent that is sought after (British is often popular, but so are many others) you may find yourself advertising a product or service where this is desirable!

The sky is the limit really, more inspiration and ideas can be found here

2. Proofreading

We all remember seeing corrections like the above on our schoolwork! It quite literally pays to be punctual on Fiverr!

If you're better at spelling grammar and punctuation than the average person (certainly myself!) Then this could be the gig for you!

Businesses are always on the lookout for competent proofreaders, and it could prove a steady revenue stream if you're a skilled one.

Further information and inspiration can be found here.

3. Web Programming

Do you know the basics of PHP, Java, C++, Ruby, Python or any other programming language?

If so, congratulations! I wish I did! Simple programming tasks are a very popular revenue stream on Fiverr.

If you can write simple codes, or you're confident enough to fix coding bugs and errors then get yourself here right away!

..And if you're like me and keen to learn for free check out Codecademy

4. User Testing

A great simple one that just needs an internet connection or a smartphone!

Companies and individuals are always coming up with new websites, and more recently 'apps' that they require testing and rating before exposing to the public.

If you can offer a valuable critique, have used plenty of apps, or even have a bit of technical know-how, you should be doing this

5. Human Billboard

Saved the strange one til the end! Yes, it actually exists as a concept on Fiverr.

People will pay to see their advertising or a message of their choosing on your person!

This message can be as simple as something scribbled on your cheek!

Advertisers are looking for creativity and being creative pays on Fiverr!

If you want inspiration here it is!

A message on the cheek really is just the start ;)

How to get Direct Referrals for Neobux

How to get Direct Referrals for Neobux

Direct referrals are a valuable commodity on Neobux. Unlike rentals, you do not have to pay to replenish a direct referral so they will always be your referral.

Therefore, if you are able to accumulate direct referrals on Neobux you can increase your potential revenue exponentially.

Here are ways that you can find direct referrals:

1. Send an e-mail to your contact list

You can be conscientious about who you add on this e-mail list. However, if you know that you have friends, acquaintances or colleagues who would be interested in participating in the site this is for you.

Drop them a quick e-mail stating that you use the service, how it can benefit them, and add your own direct referral link.

You will benefit and they will benefit too.

2. Use the Forums

Money making forums will allow you to include a signature where your direct referral link can be included.

Members will be most inclined to use your link if you offer them helpful advice to their own problem or concern.

Just write a short statement in your signature saying something like:

"If you found my advice useful I'd be very grateful if you'd use my referral link when signing up for Neobux."

Popular forums include MoneySavingExpert and importantly the Neobux Forum where you should introduce yourself and add your referral.

3. Social Media & Community

Do you have a significant presence on GooglePlus, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other platform?

You can use this to your advantage by highlighting your own direct referral link here.

Obviously you do not want to spam your information, but it is important you highlight how Neobux might benefit other people through sources such as this blog for example!

If you are a member of a community group or organisation and you have friends or associates looking to make additional revenue (who isn't?) you can let them know about Neobux and then e-mail or text them your referral link.

4. Advertising

If you have been clicking your adverts on Neobux this method will not have escaped you as you will have no doubt seen other users doing this.

I would use this as a last-resort method and only if you have a small amount of revenue set aside.

You can hire cheap advertisement space for as little as $2-3 a day on the smaller PTC sites who advertise banner spaces.

Thousands will see these, but many will just neglect them as they are just going through the motions by clicking their own advertisements for the day.

I would only do this if you already have a few hundred rented/direct referrals sourced.

5. Create & Write your own Blog!

Have you got your own tips for using Neobux or making money online?

Have you been inspired by what you have read here?

Have you a desire to generate more direct referrals through sharing your direct referral link?

If so creating your own blog is a great one for you! I'd highly recommend Blogger, where you can easily get started.

If other users find your advice helpful, you can always push them in the direction of your own direct referral link where they can sign up themselves.

Blogging if done actively can be a reliable means of sourcing direct referrals if readers find your advice insightful and useful.

Top 10 Crowdsourcing Websites

Top 10 Crowdsourcing Websites

Crowdsourcing can prove a useful and convenient means of additional revenue.

There are many websites out there you can use to earn money. Here are the best 10:

Comparable to one of the most well-known sites for crowdsourcing (Amazon mTurk.)

MicroWorkers is particularly good as it offers an open registration policy.

Tasks are typically very easy, and include items as simple as following someone on twitter, watching and rating a youtube video, or opening up a gmail account.

Thousands of new tasks become available every day.

A similar site to MicroWorkers, RapidWorkers offers marketing related micro jobs aimed at helping employers sites grow.

Rapidworkers offers a low initial payout of only $4.

ClickWorker is a micro job site I have used and mentioned in previous postings so I wont go into too much depth.

Users must complete assessments before accessing the micro tasks thereafter. Jobs can be sparse, but payouts are generally good and tasks straightforward.

I've never had any problems with payouts and would highly recommend signing up.

This is a great one for the writers out there, and considered among the best crowdsourcing sites for general writing tasks.

Companies that give CloudCrowd work generally break down the projects into smaller tasks which can also be completed by its facebook application.

Expect commission payments to be swift from CloudCrowd.

Mini jobz tasks include, signing up, commenting and liking various outlets.

Payment is via Payza or Moneybookers, and includes a $1 sign up bonus.

 ShortTask

Quoted by many as one of the best, on ShortTask you are known as a 'solver' solving problems for companies referred to as the 'seekers'.

Tasks available to solvers include:

Research Projects: such as finding competitor sites

Basic Data Entry: involving copying and pasting and entering information

Writing: in the form of reviews and proofreading

Design work: including logo design, banner + header design.

7. JobBoy

Less tasks and members then some of the above options, however JobBoy is worth your time if you're quick.

Jobs are straightforward and quick to complete.

Available to US RESIDENTS ONLY.

Many major brands are associated with CrowdTap.

You can opt to work with any brand of your choice, and use their facebook app to complete tasks. They aim to expand internationally in the near future.

Please note: US/Canada residents only.

FusionCash offers North American residents the opportunity to make money through the completion of HITs (Human Intelligence Tasks - like those on mTurk.)

Similarly to sites more like TopCashBack/Swagbucks you can earn revenue through watching videos, surveys and cashback offers.

Forum members have boasted of impressive earnings on the site.

Saved the obvious one until the end!

Amazon Mechanical Turk (mTurk) allows users to generate revenue primarily through the completion of HITs.

Typically there are in excess of 200,000 tasks available, and many crowdsources frequently quote it as the best payer.

Of course, the downside with mTurk is you need to pass their application process. Although all you do here is register.

Unfortunately at present many users (particularly outside the US) are unsuccessful.

If your application is approved though you will have access to some of the best pay outs in the crowdsourcing world!

5 Weird Ways to Make Fast Cash

Top 5 Weird Ways to Make Fast Cash

1. Car Flipping

Put simply, car flipping is buying a vehicle (car, van, bus etc.) for a low price and selling it on for a higher price. If you have a basic knowledge of automobile mechanics, you can buy a 'fixer-upper' repair, and sell it on for a higher price.

If you don't have these skills though you can still find cars at a cheap rate and sell them on for a higher price. Check ebay for cheap deals, local newspapers and autotrader and do not be afraid to haggle.

**If you have local automobile auctions or police auctions these are often the best venues to buy at.

Then, list them yourself on ebay after checking the going rate (use a suitable reserve), sell for a set price via autotrader or equivalent, or if you have a friend, colleague, or acquaintance who you agree a price with sell onto them.

To get the best possible price make sure you hold out until your price is met. Even if these means re-listing a vehicle or rejecting an offer.

MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE A PURCHASE TO ENSURE YOU WILL MAKE A PROFIT!

2. Rent Your Friendship

Whilst I'm not entirely convinced by this one for profitability (although there are success stories) on a list of weird money making ways renting your friendship must be included!

On sites such as RentAFriend.com, users can hire out their friendship in a strictly platonic manner for up to $60 an hour.

I'd only recommend this option if you're confident in yourself and comfortable with the idea, some success stories can be found here

3. Rent out your Car Parking "Spot"

This option is particularly lucrative if you live in a major city with off-street parking, or within striking distance of transport connections such as subway or train links.

Sites such as JustPark allow you to list your parking spot for other users where they can then book accordingly.

Those with parking spots available in metropolitan areas like London are making up to £15-20 a day for their use, which is up to a massive £600 a month.

4. Become a Tutor

Do you know more than one language?

Did you take a degree course at university or college?

Do you play a musical instrument?

Can you help a student with their homework?

Do you have any additional skills such as coding, website development, or graphic design?

If so tutoring could well be for you! There are many sites available online where you can sign up to become a tutor:

For Languages: VerbalPlanet and Italki

For All Prospective Students (anything from homework to skills): Chegg  and InstaEdu or Tutor.com

For Musical Instruments: LiveMusicTutor or ShredSource

Online or in-person tutoring can prove a reliable additional source of revenue for many people. Successful tutors can earn up to £30-40 an hour ($60-70) depending upon the subject and level of proficiency.

5. Crowdfunding

Easily the most 'out-there' suggestion on this list, crowdfunding is quite simply asking others for money.

There are crowdfunding sites on the internet for nearly every reason imaginable. This article on Inc.com highlights 22 sites where you can post your project.

If you have a brilliant business idea, or worthy cause you will boost your chances of successful revenue.

However, with the uncertain nature of the internet the most weird ideas are sometimes the most lucrative!
